Below are the quick answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.

Once you select the dates and the location you wish to pick the car you will see all available cars and their prices. Select the car which suits you needs and proceed to complete your reservation.

Book your car rental online for instant confirmation, allowing you to secure your vehicle quickly and conveniently without any delays. This hassle-free process ensures you can hit the road as soon as possible, enjoying a smooth and efficient experience.

Rental days are calculated on a 24-hour basis starting from the time of receipt of the vehicle, each calendar day is calculated as a full booking day.

We allow to return the car up to 1 hour after the time of pickup, without being charged an additional day.

A valid driving license issued for at least one year, your ID or passport and a valid credit card on the name of the driver are required. IMPORTANT: Drivers from non-EU countries require an international driver’s license.

The second driver is offered free of charge. You can add up to 4 additional drivers to your rental.

Our platform offers a secure and user-friendly experience for completing a full deposit online. This allows you to conveniently rent a car, ensuring a seamless process from start to finish. Additionally, our website guarantees a safe checkout, providing peace of mind while you finalize your transactions.

We know that plans can change, so we try to be as flexible as you. Our policy states that there is no cancellation fee if you inform us about cancellation 48 hours prior the rental start. However, if you need to cancel your reservation within the 48 hours leading up to your stay, a cancellation fee applies.

Please contact our team by e-mail informing us about the changes you would like to do so that we can amend your booking.

All our vehicles have comprehensive liability insurance.  Details about the insurance is shown during the booking process.

For your peace of mind unlimited kilometers are included.

Our cars can be delivered – returned anywhere in Crete. Select your preferred pick up and return location while booking the car, the price shown online is the final price of your booking including any oneway fee (if applicable). If you cannot find your preferred return location on the website, please contact our reservation team for more information.

The customer should return the car with the same level of fuel as at the time of pickup. In the event that the customer returns it with less fuel, a charge of the missing fuel applies. Additionally, a Refueling Service fee will be applied, which is 20€.

In case you want to extend your reservation, you must inform us at least 24 hours before the rental end in order to organize the return.

Driving the vehicle outside the island of Crete is prohibited.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the exact car model, only the category and its specifications. As is the case with all rental companies, only the category of the car is confirmed and not a specific model. However, to keep our customers to be completely happy, in most cases we make sure that the model of your choice is delivered.

It is very important to inform us about your flight number and estimated arrival time during the booking process. Our team can check the arrival time of your flight and assure a smooth pickup procedure. If you know there will be a change or a delay of your flight, please contact us on the numbers indicated on your voucher.  If due to the delay the collection is made outside business hours (between 10 pm and 8 am) out of hours charges might apply.

If you lose your car key you must notify us immediately on the phone numbers indicated on your voucher, so that we can provide you with a new key. Our team will inform you about the delivery of the spare key and the cost.

On the day of receipt of the car we will provide you with information on the type of fuel to avoid error in case you fill the tank with the wrong fuel you should contact us for further instructions.

In case of accident or damage you must contact the police and inform us immediately. It is important to contact us by phone and let us know your exact location. Explain the case in as much detail as possible. Festos Rentals will send help as soon as possible. You will need to stay close to your vehicle until help arrives. In case the car cannot be repaired on the spot the vehicle will be replaced.
