On the main page in the reservations section, either by clicking on the vehicle you are interested in, you send a request with your details.

Why to book online?

Book your car rental online directly for instant confirmation, allowing you to secure your vehicle quickly and conveniently without any delays. This hassle-free process ensures you can hit the road as soon as possible, enjoying a smooth and efficient experience.

How can I calculate the rental days?

Rental days are calculated on a 24-hour basis starting from the time of receipt of the vehicle, each calendar day is calculated as a full booking day.

Can I return the car later than the time of receipt?

It is allowed to return the car up to 2 hours after the time of receipt, without being charged an extra day.

What documents do I need to rent a car?

When issuing the contract, a driving license valid for at least one year in advance and an identity document or passport are required. Drivers from non-EU countries require an international driver’s license.

Can I have more than one driver?

There is the possibility of a second driver completely free of charge. For most drivers there is a small charge.

Do I need a deposit to book?

Our platform offers a secure and user-friendly experience for completing a full deposit online. This allows you to conveniently rent a car, ensuring a seamless process from start to finish. Additionally, our website guarantees a safe checkout, providing peace of mind while you finalize your transactions.

Is there a cancellation fee?

Our policy states that there is no cancellation fee if you inform us about your change in plans 4 days prior to your arrival. However, if you need to cancel your reservation within the 4 days leading up to your stay, a 100% cancellation fee will be applied. We kindly ask you to consider your booking commitments and make any necessary adjustments well in advance to avoid financial penalties.

What kind of insurance is included?

All our vehicles have comprehensive liability insurance. Damage to tires, wheels and the bottom of the car is not covered by any insurance company.

Is there a limit to the number of kilometers?

There is no limit to the kilometers.

Can I return the car to a different point?

It is possible to rent by receipt-return to a different place. There may be an extra charge. Our cars can be delivered – returned anywhere in Crete with the appropriate charge of course.

What is the fuel policy?

The customer should return the car with the same quantity of fuel as shown at the time of pickup. In the event that the customer returns it with less quantity, the customer will be charged the value of the missing fuel. Additionally, a Refueling Service Charge will be applied, which is 20€.

If I want to extend the rent what should I do?

In case you want to extend your reservation you must inform us at least 24 hours before the end of the rental.

Can I drive my rental car outside Crete?

The transport and use of the vehicle outside the island of Crete is prohibited.

Will I get the model I booked on the website?

As is the case with all rental companies, only the category of the car is confirmed and not a specific model. However, because we want our customers to be completely happy, in most cases we make sure that the model of your choice is delivered.

If my flight is delayed will I lose my reservation?

No. If you inform us in time about the delay the reservation will be transferred to the new arrival time. If due to the delay the collection is made outside business hours (between 8 am and 10 pm) 20 euros will be added to the final price.

What should I do if I lose my car key?

If you lose your car key you must notify us immediately so that you can be provided with a new key. The loss of the key is not covered by the insurance and therefore you will bear the cost of replacement.

What should I do if I fill the car tank with the wrong fuel?

On the day of receipt of the car we will provide you with information on the type of fuel to avoid error in case you fill the tank with the wrong fuel you should contact us for further instructions.

What should I do in case of an accident or damage to the car?

In case of accident or damage you must inform us immediately. It is important to contact us by phone and let us know your exact location. Explain the case in as much detail as possible. Festos Rentals will send help as soon as possible. You will need to stay close to your vehicle until help arrives. In case the car can not be repaired on the spot the vehicle will be replaced.
